Ador, the agency behind the K-pop girl group NewJeans, has submitted a complaint in a bid to constrain the group’s music activities. It’s the latest turn in an escalating fight between Ador and NewJeans.

Details of the Complaint
Ador filed the complaint on Feb. 11, the group, which rebranded as NJZ in early February, reported on social media. The complaint seeks to bar the group from engaging in “all music activities,” including songwriting, performances and related promotions.
Response to the Complaint in New Jersey v. NJZ
The legal action follows Ador's previous request that NJZ cease commercial activity, but still recognizes Ador as its official representative.
NJZ states that Ador is stopping them from doing any type of entertainment activity. “They are an attempt at undermining our professional independence.” “Because NJZ’s core is music activities, limiting this denies our very purpose,” the group added.

Ador's Defense
In its own reply, Ador said the lawsuit was "inevitable.” NJZ continued with music activities, including plans for overseas performances, as the legal battle regarding the representation of the agency was still pending, the agency stated.
“We are not trying to limit their work but have cautioned them to observe the contractual agreement signed with Ador,” the agency said.
The controversy surrounding Jisoo and the MR-removed videos is intense! It’s interesting to see how this sparked such strong reactions. Hopefully, it gets cleared up soon!
Interesting situation! It's tough to see a group’s creative freedom limited, but I hope both sides can find a fair solution soon. NJZ definitely deserves to continue making music!
