As of the third week of *Buried Hearts*, there are many questions that have not been answered. This is what I’m expecting from the next episodes of this intense drama focused on money, power and revenge.

Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho's Buried Hearts Ep 7-8 Release: Date, time, where to watch and what can you expect

On SBS's *Buried Hearts*, Park Hyung Sik is the manipulative right hand man to a conglomerate CEO, with a mysterious past. The protagonist’s situation keeps on getting worse as the story progresses. The fans are excited for the time when the tables will turn. Check out the following to see the struggles he has faced and if there is light at the end of the tunnel for redemption given his tragic circumstances.

In *Buried Hearts*, Park Hyung Sik plays Seo Dong Ju who has come back to Seoul to be with his love Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon). Unfortunately, he can’t remember her because he has amnesia. Her pleading does not move him, but he does go to the Cha residence; but, not being able to recognize everyone there does not help his amnesia. In the meantime, Yeom Jang Seon (Heo Joon Ho) starts to think that Seo Dong Ju may be feigning his amnesia. Yeom is adamant on finding out the truth and therefore sends his men to beat up Seo Dong Ju in order to make him give in the password to the Swiss account.

When Yeom Jang Seon’s ploy to torture Seo Dong Ju fails, Huh Il Do (Lee Hae Young) comes in with an offer of assistance, in return for half of Yeom’s 2 trillion KRW slush fund. But Yeom Jang Seon who has no intention of being told what to do by anyone, comes up with a plan that is as evil as it gets. He stage-manages an accident that kills Seo Dong Ju’s older sister. It’s Yeom’s thought that the loss of his sister would be more devastating to Seo Dong Ju than a bullet wound, and might actually restore his memory.

To find out if Yeom Jang Seon’s cruel move succeeds, don’t miss Buried Hearts on Disney+ (JioHotstar in India) March 14 and 15 at 9:50pm KST (6:20pm IST). South Korean viewers can also watch the episodes on the OTT platform Wavve. It is a weekly series and each episode is released on Friday and Saturday. It looks like the plot has a big shock coming, which might reveal that Seo Dong Ju is actually Seong Hyeon, the missing son of Secretary Gong.

The theory that Seo Dong Joo may be Seong Hyeon, the missing son of Secretary Gong, is based on his nightmares of a traumatic childhood and Secretary Gong's emotional response to the name “Seong Hyeon.” In the upcoming episodes, Seo Dong Joo will see his older sister die tragically, and this will bring out a flood of memories that will drive him into a rage to kill the truck driver who caused it. He is a cold determined gaze and a sinister smirk as he gets ready to start his quest for justice. At the same time, the conflict between Seo Dong Joo and Yeo Eun Nam points to the possibility of their relationship being renewed.
