At this time there is no official word as to whether or not Season 2 of Friendly Rivalry will occur. Nevertheless, there is cause to be hopeful! The drama had a decent fan base with its good story, dramatic rivalry and the relatable and believable character development. At this point, everyone is on edge, wanting more (I mean do it, but don’t make it too dramatic!), after that season finale.
Thus, K-dramas that are well received and have high viewership ratings are typically considered for a second season and Friendly Rivalry has a decent fan base. However, since a season can be left on a cliffhanger, there is always a chance to continue the story.

I definately need a s2! I love the main leads and I came here for the wlw and plot. It's definately promising but the ending was not it.
